History

A proud Northern Territory history, connecting people and places since 1988.

From humble beginnings as a three-bus operation in Darwin in 1988 that serviced Palmerston for three decades, the then family-owned Buslink group grew to become one of the largest bus operators in the Northern Territory.

As the company continued to grow, services expanded with urban and school services in Alice Springs, urban, school, special school and orbital services Darwin and school services in Jabiru. Services were also extended into Humpty Doo when Buslink purchased the Schuker bus business in 2007, including a depot and school bus contracts, and now, most recently, in Batchelor.

In 2018, ComfortDelGro Corporation Australia (CDC) acquired the Buslink group of companies, which delivered the company’s first Northern Territory and Queensland operations, and expansion into the regional city areas of Mildura in Victoria, and Broken Hill in New South Wales.

Our Next Chapter

In July 2022 we entered a new era, aligning our Northern Territory businesses to the branding of our parent company, ComfortDelGro Corporation Australia (CDC).

Following two years of CDC ownership, Buslink has adopted the business name of CDC Northern Territory in the NT. Locally, our same friendly drivers now wear new-look uniforms bearing the CDC Northern Territory logo and our buses feature the renowned bright orange and blue livery of the CDC transport brands.
